When Grandma and Grandpa Stayed the Night…

Grandpa’s Priceless Sense of Humor

During an overnight stay at their son’s house, Grandma and Grandpa were enjoying precious time with family.

While there, Grandpa stumbled upon a bottle of V pills in the bathroom cabinet and, curious, asked his son

if he could try one. The son hesitated before explaining, “Dad, they’re pretty strong—and expensive. They cost $10 each.”

Unfazed, Grandpa replied, “I don’t mind. I’d still like to try one. I’ll leave the money under the pillow before we leave.”

The next morning, after they had gone, the son checked the guest room—and was stunned to find

$110 under the pillow. Confused, he called Grandpa, exclaiming, “Dad! I said they’re $10 each, not $110!”

Grandpa laughed and said, “I know. I just wanted to make sure I paid for the experience!”

This lighthearted moment perfectly captured Grandpa’s playful nature and his adventurous spirit, even in his later years.

It also highlighted the warm, humorous bond between father and son—a reminder that joy, laughter, and love are

timeless gifts of family. Their visit ended not just with a funny story, but with cherished memories they’d all carry forever.
