Demi Moore recently praised Emma Heming Willis for her strength and compassion as she continues caring for Bruce Willis,
who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2022. Moore’s comments followed Emma’s emotional
decision to move Bruce into a specialized residence to ensure he receives professional, round-the-clock care.
In an August 26, 2025 ABC special with Diane Sawyer, Emma and Bruce Willis – The Unexpected Journey,
Emma admitted it was one of the hardest choices she has ever made but said it was necessary for both
Bruce and their daughters. She explained the arrangement allows Bruce to have the support he needs while
their children grow up in a home centered on stability and love. According to Emma, this balance
reflects Bruce’s own wishes — prioritizing their daughters’ well-being while ensuring he receives high-quality care.
Although the couple now live apart, Emma described Bruce’s new residence as a “second home,” full of warmth,
laughter, and compassionate caregivers. She emphasized that their family bond remains strong through frequent
visits and shared moments together. For Emma, this journey is not about separation but about creating
the best possible life for Bruce and their children, honoring love, dignity, and resilience.
