Henry Winkler Honored at Hall of Fame Ceremony
Henry Winkler, beloved for his role in Happy Days, was celebrated at the Television Academy’s
27th Annual Hall of Fame Ceremony on August 17 at JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles.
In a touching full-circle moment, Winkler was inducted by longtime friend Bob Daly, whom he had honored in 2022.
“Bob, I would not be here at this podium right now if it were not for you,” Winkler said, visibly moved.
The actor made the evening a family affair. His wife of nearly 50 years, Stacey Weitzman, attended with their
children and spouses: son Max Winkler, son Jed Weitzman with wife Amanda, and daughter Zoe Winkler Reinis
with husband Rob. Together they posed for photos, marking the milestone with pride and joy.
The ceremony also recognized other entertainment figures, including Viola Davis, Ryan Murphy, Conan O’Brien,
Mike Post, and the late Don Mischer. Each inductee received thunderous applause as their contributions were honored.
Following the event, Winkler shared a family photo online, writing, “An overwhelming night!!! Thank you, Television Academy.”
His heartfelt gratitude captured not just the importance of the recognition but the happiness of celebrating it surrounded by loved ones.
