Sad News About Dolly Parton

David Parton, brother of country music legend Dolly Parton, passed away on November 15 at his home in White Pine, Tennessee. He was 82.

His sister Stella shared the news on Twitter, expressing comfort in his peaceful passing. Dolly has not yet released a statement about the loss.

David was preceded in de:at:h by his infant son, Donnie; his parents, Robert and Avie; three brothers, Larry, Floyd, and Randy; his niece, Tever; and several in-laws.

David, a retired bridge-building superintendent for Simpson Construction, played a key role in projects across Kingsport, Johnson City, and Knoxville.
