Socialite Jocelyne Wildenstein Firmly Denies Having Plastic Surgery Or Using Fillers

‘Catwoman’ Jocelyne Wildenstein expressed concerns about the risks

of cosmetic surgery Jocelyne Wildenstein has publicly refuted accusations

that she’s undergone plastic surgery. Her name has long been associated with

cosmetic procedures, with her Wikipedia page explicitly describing

her as a socialite ‘known for her extensive cosmetic surgery’ that gave her a feline-like appearance.

Despite these claims and widespread speculation, the 84-year-old has

recently stepped forward to assert that she has never undergone any surgical procedures

to alter her looks. Jocelyne’s fame was propelled by her marriage to

billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein, and even more so by their sensationalized divorce.

The split gained significant media attention, particularly due to reports that

Jocelyne caught Alec with a 21-year-old Russian model in their New York home.

During the court proceedings for their divorce, a judge reportedly prohibited

her from using the divorce settlement money for any plastic surgery,

according to People. This ruling only added to the public intrigue surrounding her

appearance and lifestyle. Despite the striking differences in her appearance over

the years and the nickname ‘Catwoman’ given for her distinctive feline

features, Jocelyne continues to insist that she has never had plastic surgery.

Speaking to The Sun, she declared: “I haven’t had plastic surgery.”

The socialite also shared her deep apprehension about the potential

risks involved in going under the knife, stating that she is genuinely

‘scared of what can happen’ during such procedures. Jocelyne further clarified that

she doesn’t even approve of using Botox and has tried it just ‘twice’ in her life.

“Everyone has a different reaction to it,” she explained, adding, “I don’t know if I am allergic,

but when I had it, it did not go well with me. It was not a good result.”

She also recounted, “My face swelled up. If they [other women] want to do it too strong, it doesn’t work well.”

Additionally, Jocelyne categorically denied ever using fillers, remarking that some of her friends who tried them were left dissatisfied with their results. She expressed a preference for avoiding these kinds of treatments altogether.

However, she did admit to undergoing what she referred to as a ‘small surgery.’ In her opinion, this doesn’t qualify as plastic surgery. She explained that she had a ‘light peel’ in her youth to help prevent wrinkles, a treatment she continues to use for maintenance. Despite this, she maintains that she has had ‘nothing surgical on the eye.’That being said, Jocelyne elaborated: “I had on the eyebrow a little lift, on the top of the eyebrow. Each time it is a small rectification. You can do more if you like it, or not if you think it is too much. It’s a small surgery.”

She continued, “It keeps up a little refreshment in your eye. It’s been quite a while since I had it done though – six or seven years.”

While Jocelyne may not classify an eyebrow lift as plastic surgery, others might see it differently. But, in the end, opinions are subjective, aren’t they?
