Another Wildfire Ignites in Hollywood Hills

Los Angeles faced its sixth wildfire of the season as flames erupted early Monday

in the Hollywood Hills, fueled by dry conditions and strong winds. By mid-morning,

the blaze had consumed 50 acres and was only 20% contained, according to the Los Angeles

Fire Department (LAFD). Mandatory evacuations were issued, with residents fleeing as

firefighters and helicopters worked to control the spread. “We’ve been on edge all season,”

said resident Sandra Blake. Experts warn that prolonged drought and extreme heat are

contributing to the surge in wildfires. The economic and environmental toll continues

to mount as Los Angeles braces for more fires in the months ahead
