and Andrea Riseborough were considered for a role. Riseborough was cast but dropped out due
to scheduling conflicts. Juliette Lewis replaced her as Karen Weston. Chloë Moretz auditioned
for the role of Jean Fordham, but lost to Abigail Breslin.
