Her legs are amputated after using a common household product

Lauren Wasser, a California woman, is sharing her story to prevent others

from facing the same ordeal she did due to a common product.

In 2012, after flu-like symptoms, she was diagnosed with toxic shock syndrome (TSS)

caused by a tampon. This led to a coma and the amputation of her leg at 24.

Lauren has since fought a legal battle against Kotex Natural Balance, the brand responsible.

As she faces the inevitable loss of her other leg, she’s dedicated to raising awareness.

Despite the challenges, she remains determined to live life fully.
