Karoline Leavitt, at 27, is set to become the youngest White House press secretary
in history. A former campaign spokeswoman for Donald Trump, she will give
her first briefing on Tuesday during the president’s second week in office
Leavitt, a New Hampshire native and graduate of Saint Anselm College,
previously worked in Trump’s first administration as a speechwriter and
assistant press secretary. She also served as communications director
for Rep. Elise Stefanik before running for Congress in 2022.
Leavitt joins a long line of press secretaries in Trump’s administration,
including Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Kayleigh McEnany.
