Trump Reveals He Searched for ‘Someone Smarter’ than Elon Musk to Run DOGE

Donald Trump is not hesitant to voice his thoughts, as evidenced by his recent conversation with Elon Musk.

Both men were inseparable during the conversation, and it was amazing to observe

how the American president praised Musk and even said that he had tried to find someone smarter than the tech magnate.

That statement surprised the Tesla CEO, but Trump reassured him that despite his efforts, he could not find anyone wiser or better to do the job.

This is why Musk is here, he explained. And that is why Musk has been appointed

as the head of the DOGE, or Department of Government Efficiency.

The interview was for Fox News’s Sean Hannity, and the president discussed what

drew him to Musk and even explained what the public should know about the leading cost-cutter.

‘You know, I wish I could find someone smarter than him,’ Trump said, before laughing

and saying he couldn’t. If that doesn’t constitute an ego boost for Musk, we don’t know what does.

‘This is why I settled on this guy,’ Trump said, pointing to Musk, and the billionaire smiled as one would expect.
