What a tragedy! The whole country is mourning the passing.

A Texas community is mourning the loss of 18-year-old junior rodeo champion Ace Patton

Ashford of Lott, who died in a tragic horse accident.On August 12, while caring for a

sick calf near Chilton, a nearby horse became agitated, and Ashford’s leg got tangled,

dragging him across an open field, according to Lott Volunteer Fire Department,

He suffered severe head injuries but was still breathing when help arrived. Ashford was

airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Hospital, where he later died. A recent high school graduate, his passing has deeply impacted his community.
