Rachael Ray breaks silence with worrisome health update after slurred speech video

On the debut episode of her podcast, *I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead*, Ray revealed she had

suffered “a couple of bad falls” while doing household chores—something she loves.

“I like physical work,” she said. “I love making dinner, carrying wood. I even compete

with my husband in my head—‘Can I carry more?’” While she didn’t detail her injuries,

she acknowledged she had to pause her usual activities to recover. Fans had speculated

about her health after noticing facial drooping and slurred speech in a September Instagram clip.

Concerns ranged from a possible stroke to struggles with addiction. Though Ray didn’t

explicitly address the viral video, she offered a possible explanation, reassuring fans that she’s on the mend
