Michael Madsen addresses son’s suicide: ‘I still can’t grasp what happened’

Michael Madsen has publicly shared his grief following the tragic death of his 26-year-old son,

Hudson, who was found with a gunshot wound in what is suspected to be a suicide.

Madsen expressed shock, stating that his son had recently texted him saying,

“I love you dad,” and seemed happy. Hudson, who lived in Hawaii with his wife Carlie,

was the oldest of Madsen’s three children with his wife DeAnna. The family has

asked for privacy as they cope with the loss. Hudson’s death was confirmed by

the Honolulu Medical Examiner, though the specific timing was not revealed
