We mourn the loss of Emmy-winning actress Marla Adams, who passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 85.

Adams, who was born in Ocean City, New Jersey, on August 28, 1938, started her

acting career on Broadway and at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Before becoming a beloved character on The Young and the Restless as Dina Abbott Mergeron,

she starred in The Secret Storm. She received a 2018 Daytime Emmy for her poignant performance.

“Rest in peace, Marla Adams,” fans post in grief over her passing. We shall miss you.

Her legacy and skill have left a lasting impression on theater and television.
