Hurricane Rafael, an unusual November storm, has strengthened to a Category

2 hurricane with winds reaching 110 mph. This rare storm is moving toward the United States,

particularly threatening regions from Texas to the Florida Panhandle. Western Cuba is

expected to feel the storm’s impact first, with landfall imminent. The National Hurricane

The storm could bring up to three inches of rain and increase the risk of tornadoes.

Flash flooding remains a concern, especially in low-lying areas. Rafael may continue
