Dr. Nick Norwitz, a YouTuber, ate 720 eggs in 30 days to see how it would affect his cholesterol.
Surprisingly, despite the high cholesterol intake, his LDL (bad cholesterol) levels decreased by 18%.
He believes this outcome was due to the liver’s regulation of cholesterol and
the addition of carbohydrates in his diet during the experiment.
While cholesterol-rich foods like eggs were once thought to drastically raise cholesterol,
recent research suggests that dietary cholesterol doesn’t have a major impact for most people.
Instead, fats, carbohydrates, and other factors like inflammation play a larger role in heart health.
This experiment challenges traditional views, showing that moderate egg consumption may
not harm heart health for most individuals. However, it’s important to maintain
a balanced diet and consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
