Donald Trump accused of being ‘disgusting’ after new photo of White House is released

In recent weeks, the President has made some very controversial moves, including raising

goods tariffs drastically for Canada and fighting talk with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

And Trump’s latest move, which sees him showing support for his friend and Department of

Government Efficiency (DOGE) advisor Elon Musk, has also gone down like a lead balloon.

The Tesla cars are supposedly there for Trump to ‘view’, but the lining up of the distinctive vehicles and his proud display of friendship for X and Tesla entrepreneur Elon Musk has now also sparked a backlash.

On X, a critic shared the picture when they added their own thoughts: “I think regardless of your politics, you have to admit this is disgusting use of the presidency.”

Another person thought the same when writing: “Oh they doing car shows at the federal residence now okay.”

“How is it legal, this is basically an ad,” asked another, as a fourth wrote: “President advertising a car manufacturer company has to be illegal.”

The move comes just a week after Trump’s discussions with Ukrainian leader Zelenskyy led to controversy.

During the meeting, Trump and Zelenskyy got into an argument during the heated meeting in the Oval Office last month, with Trump telling Zelenskyy he’s ‘gambling with World War 3’.

Trump could be heard telling Zelenskyy: “You either make a deal or we are out. Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. We’re trying to solve a problem. Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel, because you’re in no position to dictate that… You’re in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel.

“We’re going to feel very good and very strong. You’re not in a very good position, you’ve allowed yourself to be in a bad position… you don’t have the cards right now… you’re gambling with the lives of millions of people.

“You’re gambling with World War III!”

Days on from the disastrous meeting, the Trump administration paused all aid to Ukraine, with criticism coming in from across the globe for how Trump and his Vice President JD Vance handled the meeting.

This week, Trump has also added more fuel to the fire for relations between the US and Canada as he’s now been accused by some of triggering a global trade war as several countries such as China and Canada – have fired back with their own tariffs in response to Trump’s drastic measures.

After comments from former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and current PM Mark Carney, Trump then retaliated by telling press he’ll be increasing tariffs on goods from Canada from 25 to 30 percent.
