Tiger Woods recently played a round of golf with former President
Donald Trump at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach as
he prepares for his comeback to the PGA Tour. Woods, who hasn’t
finished a 72-hole tournament since the Masters in April 2022,
is set to compete in the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines
in San Diego next week. Trump is expected to attend the Super Bowl
in New Orleans later today. He has also been involved in discussions
with PGA Tour officials regarding the future of professional golf,
with Woods’ name emerging in talks related to the Saudi Public
Investment Fund and the PGA Tour. Woods’ attendance at the meeting
was not confirmed, but his private jet was tracked to Dulles Airport
before he headed to Florida. In personal news, Woods announced the
passing of his mother, Kultida Woods, at the age of 80. In a statement,
Woods described her as “a force of nature” and credited her as his
biggest supporter. Trump, who has played golf with Woods several times,
expressed his condolences on social media, offering prayers and love to Woods and his family
