In response to former Representative Jamaal Bowman’s comments about

Elon Musk being a “Nazi” and a “thief,” Musk threatened legal action,

stating “Lawsuit inbound” on social media platform X. Bowman’s comments

were made during a CNN discussion, where he also criticized Musk’s

competence and trustworthiness, claiming that the firing of tens of

thousands of employees and subsequent court-ordered reinstatements reflected

Musk’s ineptitude. This incident follows prior controversies involving Musk,

including accusations from left-wing media of him giving a “Nazi salute”

on Trump’s inauguration day, which were strongly denied by Musk and his family.

Additionally, Rep. Ayanna Pressley also labeled Musk with similar fascist

charges in the past. Bowman’s political background includes his loss in

a Democratic primary to a pro-Israel candidate and his censure in the

House of Representatives for a controversial fire alarm incident.
