Suspect in Frisco Track Meet Stabbing That KiIIed

when 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony fatally injured Austin Metcalf, a

student from Memorial High School. The altercation began when Karmelo,

seeking shelter from the rain under a tent, was asked to move by Austin,

leading to a confrontation. According to reports, Karmelo admitted to

the incident and claimed he acted in self-defense after the altercation

escalated.Austin’s family has been deeply affected by the loss of their son.

To honor his memory, they set up a GoFundMe campaign,

which has received significant support from the community. The campaign

aims to help the family during this difficult time. Austin was remembered

as a promising student-athlete with a bright future ahead.Meanwhile,

Karmelo has been charged with murder and is being held on a $1 million bond.
