9-Year-Old Boy Dies on His Way to School – What Happened?

A 9-year-old boy, Gabriel Andrews, tragically died after being swept away by

floodwaters while walking to his school bus stop in Frankfort, Kentucky,

on April 4, 2025. Gabriel, who had just turned nine days earlier,

slipped into a drainage channel flooded by heavy rain. His body was

found about two hours later, half a mile from where he was last seen,
