A social media post by former FBI Director James Comey has sparked widespread

attention and concern after some interpreted it as potentially threatening

toward former President Donald Trump. The post, which featured a photo

of seashells arranged in a specific numerical pattern, was later deleted,

but not before it ignited a wave of speculation and federal inquiry.

Comey’s post included a photo showing seashells placed to form the numbers

“86 47.” While some interpreted it as a simple beach photo with the

caption, “Cool shell formation on my beachwalk,” others saw it differently. In popular

slang, “86” is sometimes used as a term for elimination, and “47” is
