Georgia Teen Charged with Parents’ Murders in Shocking Case
A 17-year-old girl from Carroll County, Georgia, is facing two counts of murder in connection with the deaths of her mother,
Kristin Brock, and stepfather, James Brock. Authorities allege that Sarah Patrick was involved in the fatal shootings, which occurred
on February 20. A 6-year-old sibling was also present in the home and reportedly found the bodies before Sarah made the 911 call.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Sarah is being charged as an adult. Investigators say evidence points
to possible assistance from others after the incident. Family members noted James had significant health issues,
adding to the tragedy. The emotional toll on the youngest child has been especially severe.
At the funeral, Sarah delivered a heartfelt eulogy, calling James “the best bonus dad ever” and praising her mother
as strong and compassionate. She read a touching letter from her mother about resilience and gratitude, leaving mourners in tears.
The case took a dramatic turn when Sarah’s biological father turned her in after learning of active warrants. As the investigation continues,
the community remains in shock, mourning the loss of two lives and struggling to comprehend the painful circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
