Tragedy Strikes Lexington Church After Traffic Stop Turns Deadly
On July 13, 2025, a police traffic stop in Lexington, Kentucky, turned tragic when a suspect shot and injured a state trooper, fled the scene,
and later opened fire at Richmond Road Baptist Church. The rampage left two women dead and two men injured before the suspect was fatally shot by police.
The victims were identified as Christina Combs, 34, and Beverly Gumm, 72. One injured man remains in critical condition.
