Community Mourns Rachel Booth After Tragic Discovery
Rachel Booth, a 38-year-old mother of three from Barnton, Northwich, was found dead in a lake near Delamere on July 21,
following a two-day search. CCTV last captured her in the early hours of July 19 at a gas station,
appearing calm. A major search operation was launched, involving Cheshire Police, sniffer dogs, and divers.
Her body was discovered near a holiday park in Oakmere. Authorities confirmed there were no
suspicious circumstances, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
Rachel, also known as Helena, is survived by her husband, Carl Langley, and their three sons. Her family described her as a devoted mother,
wife, and sister. The local community expressed shock and sadness, remembering her as kind, active, and well-loved.
In her memory, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support her children and fund an ADHD-related
charity close to the family. The fundraiser has already gathered thousands of pounds, with plans to establish a trust for her sons.
