Michael Douglas proudly marked his youngest son Dylan’s 25th birthday, sharing a rare Instagram photo of the two.
“Wow, a quarter of a century! I couldn’t be more proud of your talent and the man you’ve become,” he wrote.
Dylan, following in his famous parents’ footsteps, is set to star in the psychological thriller I Will Come to
You as Julian Marks, a role he says drew him for its complexity. Filming begins later this year.
His journey hasn’t been without challenges. Diagnosed with dyslexia at 15 after years of struggle and mockery in school, Dylan’s parents moved
the family from Bermuda to New York so he could attend The Windward School. Michael has often spoken about how proud they are of his progress.
A 2022 Brown University graduate, Dylan has excelled in politics and media. He worked as deputy campaign manager for a major congressional race, co-founded
the political action committee Make Room, and in 2024 launched Young American with
Dylan Douglas on SiriusXM, a Gen Z–focused political show now running indefinitely.
Also an avid history enthusiast, Dylan’s path from overcoming dyslexia to succeeding in acting, politics, and media continues to inspire fans and family alike.
