At 50, Angelina Jolie is preparing for a new chapter. With her youngest children nearing adulthood,
the actress is ready to step back from Los Angeles and Hollywood life. She has listed her Los Feliz estate,
purchased in 2017 for $24.5 million. Built in 1913, the six-bedroom mansion once belonged
to filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille and spans two acres with gardens, a pool, and sweeping Griffith Observatory views.
For Jolie, the home was more than luxury. Its quiet paths and history offered comfort during difficult years,
while its proximity to Brad Pitt — just five minutes away — made co-parenting their six children easier.
It also became a refuge for friends displaced by wildfires. She often described it as a “fortunate place” rather than a symbol of grandeur.
Now, with her divorce finalized in December 2024 and twins Knox and Vivienne approaching 18, Jolie is looking abroad.
She has long expressed her wish to settle outside the U.S., seeking greater privacy, peace, and humanity than Los Angeles can offer.
Jolie plans to spend time in Cambodia, where she has deep roots, while continuing to travel widely to remain close to her children.
