Many of her friends have lost their homes in the devastation

Jamie Lee Curtis recently spoke about the devastating California wildfires, which have

claimed at least five lives and destroyed over 1,000 structures. On Instagram, she shared

her experience, stating that her home was safe but many friends and communities were affected.

Curtis urged people to share factual information and support those in need, especially

firefighters and volunteers. On The Tonight Show, she described the fires as “a catastrophe”

and expressed her concern for her community in the Pacific Palisades. Curtis encouraged people

to donate to the Red Cross, give blood, and be prepared with emergency kits. She also

stressed the importance of supporting local shelters and organizations
